In Memory of our Founder
Michael Grizzaffi

J. Michael Grizzaffi graduated from Texas Tech University with a BS Electrical Engineering Degree and a minor in Mathematics. He spent 30 years as an Engineer with Texas Instruments, Inc. While at TI his work included the design of Infrared Imaging Systems and Computer Systems, including work on several classified military projects.

One of his more notable accomplishments was designing the Digital Data Subsystem for the Voyager Satellite still in orbit at the edge of our solar system. He received an MBA Degree from the University of Dallas and an MS Management and Administrative Science Degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. He was a registered Professional Engineer (Emeritus), and an American Society of Appraisers Accredited Senior Appraiser designated in Machinery and Equipment.

He developed and implemented a method and process for running statistical analysis on sales of Commercial Real Property and Business Personal Property equipment. The analysis formed the basis for the creation of market value depreciation schedules for use in property valuations.

His core values of teamwork and respect for all stakeholders remain important today.

We may have lost him, but his spirit and legacy will continue to live on.
