Available from the County Assessor
EXEMPT TYPE:
Freeport for Inventory, Pollution Control, Economic Development Incentives and others available.
VALUE NOTICE DATE:
Available from county on line or at the Central Appraisal District Office. Current taxpayers will receive a form by mail yearly.
RIGHT OF PROTEST:
You can file a protest anytime after May 1 if you disagree with any action taken by the Appraisal District that affects your property. Protests include Over Valued, Unequal value, denied exemption, wrong taxiing unit, and others.
PROTEST DEADLINE:
May 31st or 30 days after the Appraisal District mails out the notice of appraised value.
RIGHT OF APPEAL &
FILING REQUIREMENT:

Property owners can appeal annually on market value and unequal appraisal regardless of whether the appraisal district changes the value.

TAX DUE:
January 31st Last day to pay taxes before delinquency. Penalty and Interest accrue after this date.
TAXING JURISDICTIONS:
City, County, School District, Hospital District, or any other Political unit of the State authorized to impose property taxes
